I have LOVED working out at Energy and will continue to do so when this first month membership is up next week. Over my 33 years I have been heavy a lot, lost weight a few times, and I have tried many programs and gyms along the way. You guys have seriously good class instructors and have made the variety of classes offered fun, friendly, relaxing and at times hard-but easy to get through with all the encouragement. Energy seems like a tool for overall health and well being...not just a gym:) Your vibe is loving and lovely! I am happy to come and even happier walking out your door...THANK YOU!!!

I wanted to take a minute to let you know how much I enjoy being a member of Energy. I joined the gym 3 months ago when I was going through some really tough times. I was full of negative self-talk and needed to challenge myself in a healthier manner with my workouts, as well as surround myself with positivity. I found Energy on-line and it was completely out of my comfort zone. (WHAT....I can't deadlift 300 pounds here?!?!?!) But you gave me a hug when I walked in for my first class and I knew this was where I needed to be.
in my short time here, I have changed my body image perception, have challenged myself in ways that I never thought possible, and feel more positive about life in general and even though Amanda nearly killed me in my first pilates reformer class this morning, I will be back for more! Because the environment at Energy makes me want to just keep on pushing to be my best.
I'm a firm believer in acknowledging people who make this world a better, brighter place. You and the team at Energy are such people.

Dear Debra and all of EPF,
I just wanted to say a GIANT “thank you” for all that you are! When I joined Energy just over a year ago, I was hoping to find some kind of workout that would not further irritate my herniated disc and degenerative disc problems. Little did I know, I was joining a community of such wonderful women were I would also get a great, well-rounded workout!
After just a few months of consistently going to classes and taking reformer with the amazing Jennifer Hall, my back pain was nearly gone! Not only was my back feeling better than it had in years, but I also dropped the last 5 pounds from my pregnancy! I could not have done this without the inspiring instructors and the daily childcare workers who were so great with my then 6-month and 2 year old kids. This is so rarely offered at smaller studios, but it is GREATLY appreciated! That one hour of sweaty mom time means so much to me, sometimes, my sanity!
I truly LOVE, LOVE, LOVE every class at Energy and I look forward to coming every day! The classes are often difficult, but at the same time, welcoming of everyone at every ability! You have done such a great job of creating a welcoming and supportive environment with instructors and staff who are all great at what they do. Energy is like the “Cheers”, where everybody knows your name, of fitness studios!

"Love, love, love Energy Pilates & Fitness! I started there after my second back spinal fusion and have lost 45 pounds and am in the best shape of my life. The instructors are attentive and help everyone especially those that need modifications due to surgeries or injuries. The classes cater to all levels (from beginner to advanced) and you are never made to feel out of place. The owner Debra and her instructors know how to get the best out of you in that hour...but I am amazed at how fast that hour goes by. So fun! I began training with Jennifer using the Pilates Reformer in the fall of 2014. My daughter's commitment to dance and gymnastics (which I LOVE!) left little time for me to fit in regular classes. I had tried the reformer a few times prior and loved it, so I decided to make it a weekly commitment to myself. At first, it was a very humbling experience for me. Training on the reformer was different than any other workout. I was using muscles I didn't know I had and was the "good" sore even into a few days after a workout. Jennifer asked me what I wanted to gain from our time together.
She took the time to figure out what works best for my body and has been adapting her instruction ever since. She has the perfect balance of knowing when to push me further and when to give my body a break. I truly look forward to our time together every week and am disappointed when I have to reschedule. The hour goes by so quickly and we have so much fun! I have noticed positive changes in my body and an increase in my strength-especially in my core. Having had 2 C-sections, I have always struggled with weak lower abdominal and back muscles. I quickly saw, and continue to see, increased strength in these areas. This has helped with my daily functionality as well. I highly recommend getting out of your comfort zone and trying something new. I am so happy that I did and thankful to have something for "me" each week that I can look forward to! Jessica R
Ten weeks ago I signed up for a group reformer session with Jennifer. I got way more than I could ever of imagined in those 10 weeks. I didn’t just get a personal trainer. I got an encourager, a motivator, and a listener.
She has helped push, mold, and shape me into a stronger person both physically and mentally. When I didn’t think I could do it, I would hear…just 4 more ladies. You can do it! She individualized when necessary and provided laughs when needed. She would repeatedly say “smile” when we were pushing through an exercise where a grimace might sneak across my face. I can proudly say that I am smiling at the results and it is the reason that I signed up for 10 more weeks. I have immensely enjoyed my last 10 weeks of hard work with Jennifer and look forward to the next 10. She is simply amazing! Jolie B
I spend two mornings a week with Wayne (and have for nearly 18 months) for one-on-one yoga and reformer sessions. These weekly sessions with Wayne have shaped and toned my 59+ body in ways I would never have imagined. My skills continue to improve under Wayne's ever watchful eye (you will learn the "right" way to do it), but beyond the physical changes, the practice of yoga helped me find a "place of quiet and stillness" that has become a useful tool in my daily life. Wayne not only excels at teaching but takes a real interest in your personal journey to well-being. Kudos to Wayne and to Energy for offering a studio experience that makes you glad you are there to exercise!

From the moment I opened the door that first night over two years ago, when a friend asked me to come and try Pilates, everyone (especially Nancy and Debra) made me feel so welcome and were extremely encouraging and helpful as I was learning and trying something new for the first time.
I remember being a little nervous because I was trying something new that was out of my comfort zone. Now after coming faithfully for the last eight months, I can truly say my whole mindset has changed about what a healthy and strong body looks like. For the first time, I feel like you don’t have to be “rail thin” to be fit or in good shape.
I have seen my body change over the last eight months and it is more than just about the weight that I have lost. My core is so much stronger as are my arms and legs. My balance and flexibility have also improved. I enjoy walking and running but I have never enjoyed any exercise as much as doing Pilates, BARRE, and Yoga. So if you are on the fence, take a chance, step outside the box, open the door and give it a try! You won’t be disappointed! Jolie Boich
