"I attended the Gut Health workshop on March 4, 2017. Julie England, MD did a fabulous job presenting the science, breaking it down and making it easy to understand. Her approach is definitely outcomes based while appreciating that there is a lot of ongoing research going on in the area of Leaky Gut. In most cases, she suggested moderation unless your body is telling you differently. I walked away with a few action items that I could easily apply to my life and had a good understanding of the importance of why I should implement them. I would say that this class exceeded my expectations and helped get me on track and thinking about proper nutrition, my body and what I put in it. I would definitely take another class by Dr. England if it fit in my schedule. "

"The "Gut Health" workshop was so enlightening. I learned a lot about how important it is to have a healthy gut. Julie England is such a great presenter and so extremely knowledgeable. I loved hearing about the scientific side of how the body works and how important it is to take care of it. I got many great take aways and will be incorporating them into my life. The venue was amazing too. it was well worth the time spent. The first thing that I did when I got home was to take my probiotic!!

FAQ - WELLNESS WORKSHOPSWhat is the minimum age requirement to enroll in a Wellness Workshop?
Best suited to over 16 years Where do I park? Super easy, free parking in front of the studio. What should I bring to the workshop? Just a lovely attitude, open ears, a hungry brain and a note pad. We recommend wearing your comfortable "moving" clothing or workout wear when attending and yoga/fitness wellness workshop. Who do I contact with questions? Energy is proud to have Dr. Julie on their advisory Board of Directors. As the only fitness studio in MN that has daily access to a board-certified Family Medicine Physician, Energy is in a unique position to offer exercise classes that are fit, sound and SAFE. All classes, programs, training and instruction are ‘vetted’ by Julie; she is also our keynote speaker and expert who explains in ‘everyday language’ the bio mechanics and anatomy of exercise physiology. After hearing Julie explain the “anatomical component” many students say their exercise regime improves in terms of efficiency and safety, because they understand the why and how, of proper form and breath; this allows them to improve their technique and take their health and fitness program to the next level.
